Ryan is getting so big. He is already trying to walk along the couch by himself. I cannot believe how independent he is, well I guess I know who his dad is so I can believe how independent he is. :) Ryan is just growing up too fast, I wish Ashlynn and Ryan could stay little for forever. This picture was just too cute to pass up; he loves to play in my mom's fountain.

A short, but fun trip up to Soap Stone Campground
We met up with my family for an afternoon where they were camping. I just couldn’t bring myself to stay over this year. Who knows maybe next year I will have more ambition. Three kids is a lot of work when it comes to going on outings. The kids loved to play by the stream that ran by the campground and as always Austin had a heyday fishing and playing with the dogs. Brooklynn just likes to wander around and look at things and Ashlynn was just cranky because of her two teeth that are coming in so she just wanted to be in the shade. We stopped at Provo River Falls on the way home. It was really beautiful. The girls fell asleep on the way there so they stayed in the car and Brian took all the pictures so that is why he is not in any of them.

Spare Tires
My dad had some spare tires next to his house that for some reason he moved into the front lawn and the kids took advantage and played in them for quite some time. They were pretending that they were birds and that the tires were their nests. It was really funny. I cant believe how dirty they got, I guess I should have known better then to let them play on tires but they had so much fun.
My uncle came into town to help my dad fix his fence and brought his little boy with him that is Austin’s age. Ty and Austin had so much fun playing together. Too bad they have to live so far away in Idaho. I love summer days when we can just all sit around and visit and be together.

Riding Bikes
Brooklynn has finally figured out how to ride her bike. It took having her ride on Carson Bennett’s bike for her to get it. But now she doesn’t want to stop. And Austin just goes and goes and goes. He often just keeps going when we go for walks and we have to just stop and wait for him to come around because we can’t catch him. The other night Austin decided that he wanted his training wheels off and so I took them off right then, but it only lasted about 5 minutes and we put them back on. He didn't have a clue how to balance yet. Maybe in a few weeks we can try again.

Six Years
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful man at my side. We have reached six years and I am amazed at how fast the time went by, although there were times when it sure didn’t seem to go by that fast :) . There is not a day that goes by that Brian doesn’t tell me that I am perfect the way that I am. I am so grateful to have someone at my side that fights my battles with me and is there in all the ups and downs of life. Who would have known six years ago that we would have come this far? I am sure if you would have asked us we would have never been able to tell you all the great things to come: three kids, a home, 2 cars, Brian would graduate, and the many other things of our wonderful life. There have been ups and downs and I am glad that it has been with my wonderful husband. So here is to more great years to come!

Happy 29th Birthday Brian!
I am always amazed at how Brian can figure out just about anything. It doesn’t matter what it is people will come to him with a question and he will find an answer. He is an amazing Husband and great father. We are so blessed to have him. I am always telling Brian that he can do it, even if he is not so sure and often I am not sure (but I don’t tell him that :) and he always amazes me and does whatever I said he could do with ease. We love you.
Happy 29th Birthday!

Chalk + Boy + A Few Minutes = ?
Well if it is my boy it = chalk all over the fence, house, rocks, meters, deck, and just about anywhere you can think of around the house. I am not really sure why Austin thought this would be a good idea but when his dad found him he did not think it was a good idea and handed him a rag to clean it off. I just had to laugh and take some pictures while Brian held his ground because he caught him. :) Man where do kids come up with ideas like this?
