Great Grandpa and Grandma Everson came for a visit

It is always fun to see my grandparents with my kids. The kids just loved all the attention they got while they were here.

My mom requested pictures for her Birthday and I am happy to say that we did get pictures in the end. More of them looked like the pictures below than above but I guess that is what you get when you have a 6, 4, and 2 - 1 1/2 year old's to work with.

Ashlynn Loves The Rain!

The other day the kids were outside playing on the swings and slide when I realized that the noise I was hearing was not the trains it was thunder so I told them to come in. Of course Ashlynn had a better idea and just continued to play and being the mean mom that I am I decided to see what would happen when the rain began to come down. To my surprise Ashlynn didn't seem to care that it was raining in fact she thought it was pretty fun. She finally came to the door where I pulled her in right be fore the sheets of rain came down but she just kept saying rain'n rain'n and wanted to go back out. We all just had to laugh at her soaked appearance. Ashlynn on the other hand threw a fit when I wouldn't let her go back out. What a crazy kid I have. :)

Happy 30th Bithday Brian!

This year for Brian's 30th Birthday I tried to throw a surprise fiesta Birthday party for him. I can not believe how much work it was. I really must not be up for this kind of thing when I am pregnant. I thought things were going well until I realized toward the end I had not taken hardly any pictures. Man where has my brain gone? It was a great party though. We had family and friends there and we had a great time. Thanks to everyone that came to make this such a great surprise for Brian.
