You Did It Trish!

I took Trisha’s Senior Pictures and it didn’t really hit me that she was going to graduate high school until the day of. Trish is such an amazing sister to have, she is caring, smart, and way artistic (I wish I had a ¼th of her talent). We are so proud of you Trish, we know you will go far in life!

Austin’s Friend Party

Austin’s friend party was a blast this year. The kids are finally getting old enough to really play some fun party games. Austin had a ton of his friends over and we played pin the one on Thomas, take along trains and tracks, and we decorated cookies. The kids all really seem to love to decorate cookies. Although it makes somewhat of a mess, it is still a lot of fun. Thanks to the friends that stuck around and helped me out.

Austin just loves to play in the water. After most of his friends left from the party he got the hose out and he pretty much watered down the few that were still here. The funny thing was that they all laughed and wanted him to do it more.

Austin’s Family Party

Austin loved the cake, the presents, and all the family time he had on his birthday.

Uncooked corn for Breakfast?

Brooklynn decided that she wanted breakfast and got it out all on her own, she was so proud. I can't believe she ate the whole cob raw! She said it tasted really good.

A day in the sun

It is hard to tell if it is summer or not. One minute the sun is out and you are getting a sunburn and the next it is raining. We happened to catch a few hours of sun in the crazy weather to pull out the pool and the pool toys. The kids absolutely loved to play in the water and be outside. I wish every day could be as carefree as this day was.

Learning to Skate

Austin found my old skates in the garage and decided that he would try them out, Of course this meant that Brooklynn had to try them too. It was surprisingly more up than down for both of them. It was really fun for me to watch them try something new.

Way to go Steph!

Stephanie was in choir this last school year and we went to two of her concerts. In the last one she performed in she was asked to sing a special part with a few other girls. She did a great job. Way to go Steph!

Brooklynn doesn't have a clue how to drive :)

Brooklynn deiced that she would drive Ashlynn and I to the store. The funny thing was that she thought the keys went into the gearshift and she knew nothing about the pedals. She just thought she needed to steer the car out of the garage. She wasn't very happy when the car never started. It was quite funny. For some reason Ashlynn wasn't very amused. :)

Going for a Ride

I found this four wheeler and just could not resit getting it
for my nephew Ryan. Kevin has such and addiction to ATV's
and I thought that it was the perfect thing for Ryan to have.
It was really cute when we put Ashlynn & Ryan on it together.

Weeding, Worms, & Stink Bugs Oh My

A day of weeding man what have we gotten ourselves into. Yards take too much work; well they do if you neglect them. We spent over three hours digging up weeds and trying to get the yard back to a presentable state. It was fun to work as a family and be outside in the warm weather. Austin also enjoyed finding as many worms as he could and then taking them around to everyone and showing them off (he really enjoyed the reaction he got from his Aunt Trisha). Austin also found a stink bug and spent quite some time carrying it around and playing with it. Brooklynn had fun getting as many large weeds out and bring them to me and telling me Happy Mother’s Day! (Aunt Trisha helped her out with the idea). Really it wasn’t that bad, it was just an all around enjoyable day.

Girly Girl

Brooklynn just loves being girly. She insisted that AuntTrisha
put make up on her today. So this starts the makeup
putting on saga. She just loves to do everything that Aunt Trisha does.

What are sprinklers for?

What are sprinklers for?
Sprinklers are for flooding the sidewalk and then
jumping in the puddles, well at least that is what
happened and that is what my kids think. :)

Trisha's Senior Pictures Take Three

After taking over 1000 pictures, going to four
locations, and changing into multiple
outfits I think we are done. It was a lot of fun.
I would defiantly do it again if I got the chance.

Sisters

Brooklynn insisted that they both need head bands.
They didn’t last 5 minutes on either of their heads,
oh well it was cute for the picture.
