So I am not sure why this is bothering me so bad but it is. I look at everyone's blog often and try to comment when ever I can but there are hardly ever any comments on my blog. It always seems that I hear that a lot of people have seen my blog and they comment to me in person but no one comments on my blog and for some reason it is really eating on me. So... I am going to not worry about bloging any more. If I get a second I will (which very rarely happens)if not, I am not even going to look at anyone's blog so I don't have to feel sad that mine is the only one with out comments. I guess I should just be happy that people are looking at mine but like I said it is eating on me. So I am done until I can build up some more "whatever it is I need to build up" and not feel like every time I blog I am sad because no one cares to comment on mine. Sorry to you faithful lookers. I hope I will be back sometime but as of right now we will just have to see.

I'm sorry to hear this as I like checking out your blog every so often and seeing what the Hornes are up to. But no, I don't think I've ever commented on your blog (nor have you ever commented on mine for that matter!) But why should that matter?
I blog for ME. My blog is an online journal of my own personal thoughts, adventures whatever. If people comment, fine. If not, that's fine too. I would still blog even if I had no comments and even no readers!
Anyway, if you keep blogging I promise to try to comment more often! Although, a guy can only say "cute" and "adorable" so many times without looking gay!
I'm sorry about not commenting more on your blog. I do look at it regularly. Don't stop blogging! You have such a cute blog, and it is fun to look at! I often show it to my boys because they like to see what Austin is doing. I will definitely make sure I comment more but just don't stop!
You are a DORK...and I mean that in a good way! I know how you can feel....cause it makes me SO happy when I see I have comments on my blog, and when I don't I would think, hmmm...obviously no one thought that was a good post....but in reality, most people love to look at blogs, but it DOES take extra time and effort to comment on everyones blog. For instance, I would rather look at 4 or 5 peoples blog within a few minutes than trying to spend that few minutes just to post a comment on one persons blog. But...I will comment when I have time, so don't take it personally! Get a page counter, and it will tell you that people are looking at your blog! DOn't stop though, that would be WAY sad!! And like Ike said, it should mainly be for you, like a journal. And your brother and sis in law in CA can stay in touch of whats going on with your family! So BLOG ON!!
Kristi, I don't know you well enough to know if this is the case, but it sounds like you are letting your self-esteem be measured by how many people read your blog. Don't let it!!! It's not worth it! You have to ask yourself, "Why do I blog?" Is it an online journal? Is it because you like blogging? Is it because you want more friends? Is it because you need people to tell you they care? (This sounds mean, I don't intend it to be that way, but it's a serious question.)
My blog is for me and whoever wants to check it out is welcome to do so. I don't have time to write in a paper journal, so this is the best way for me to keep track of family events and silly things my kids do.
I don't comment a lot on blogs just because I don't always have the time. Usually, the only time I'm online is after midnight so I just read and then go to bed.
I hope I don't sound harsh, I don't mean it that way. You are a wonderful person and I like to check your blog to see what you guys have been up to. I hope you will continue to blog, but don't do it because everyone tells you to. Do it because you want to, whatever the reason may be.
I BEG you....Please don't stop blogging!!! I love readng your blog even though I don't always leave a comment.
I am like Brittany and sometimes just have 5 minutues to read as many posts as I can get and don't have the time to comment even though I would love to. I can hardly find the time to keep my own blog up-to-date!
My plea is that you keep blogging, because you have so many people that LOVE you!
P.S. Luke loves to look at your kids pictures with me- so please don't make him sad too!!!

I am sad to hear that you're sad! I am like others who read your blog often, yet fail to comment. I guess it's a bad habit of mine. I think the difference between you and me is that you're constantly thinking of others, so you comment on their blogs to let them know you care. As I have told you so many times before, I need to take a lesson from you and spend more time thinking of others. I hope that you will continue to blog because Sam will be sad not to see pictures of Austin anymore, and we want to keep up on the everyday life of the Hornes! I hope that we will see more posts soon!
