November 6, 2009: We celebrated Ashlynn's birthday with Family at the hotel. We had a fun cake and pizza too. All I can say is that I am glad this was not my 6 year old's birthday or it might have been even more traumatic to lose a friend birthday party to an exploded house. Ashlynn seemed to not even notice that anything was going on. And yes if you are wondering we did haul the helium tank into the hotel to have balloons. :) This was also the night that we discovered that our SLR Camera had a cracked lenses, not the highlight of the evening. :( Thank you to all the family that made this such a fun birthday for Ashlynn.
November 8, 2009: We are still in disbelief that this is our home. Our home that we have now started to call the house we used to live in. My brother came by today to see how things were going and made the commit that he has never seen my basement so clean. To bad it had to take this to get it that way.
November 9, 2009: The kids really wanted to go swimming. So we found some time to go down to the pool. Thank you to their Aunt Stephanie for coming and helping because mom just didn't have the energy to get in the pool.
